Trick or Treat Trot for Tails Walkathon is a fundraiser for the Evanston Animal Shelter Association, the nonprofit organization that funds and manages the care of the animals at the Evanston Animal Shelter. Our goal is to raise $30,000! As a no-kill shelter, nearly 70% of our expenses cover verterinary care and behavioral training.
Sign up to walk, create a goal to raise money, and get friends and family to donate! The walk is two miles long. Even if you can’t participate in the walk, you can still register and fundraise!
The walk is dog and family friendly, so bring your whole crew and we’ll see you there! Dress up in costume and we’ll have treats along the way – for you and your pup! Your pet can also participate in our pet costume contest!
Festivities begin at 9:30am on the east lawn of the Charles Gates Dawes House, home of the Evanston History Center and right across the street from the Evanston lakefront.
