Here are just some of the amazing dogs we have available. Stop in during adoption hours to see them and more!

Fetty

Fun, fantastic, fabulous Fetty doesn’t fret the small stuff! This absolute puppy in a big boy body is the ultimate loverboy. There’s not a creature on this planet that’s not a friend for Fetty and he uses his entire body to show you his love. Fetty is the kind of dog that while yes, could use some basic manners training, is the definition of best friend! He was an owner surrender but they loved him and it shows through his personality. We promised we’d take care of him and we’re hoping we can find this bean a home ASAP!

Size: 70 lbs
Energy level: High puppy-like energy!
Kids: 13+, he’s a big boy learning the ropes
Dogs: Yes please!
Cats: With slow intro!

Kitty

This girl knows what she wants and doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to, we love that about her! At 115 lbs, Kitty is easy to walk and has great manners overall but she can’t be bothered to change anything about herself. Sit for a treat? Who are you kidding?! She enjoys an older crowd, one that knows how to sit back and relax because why would she ever be bothered to exercise. She just wants to lounge, drool, and live her best life being hand fed treats on a comfy couch. We’re hoping to find someone with Cane Corso experience for her so fill out an adoption survey if that’s you!

Size: 115 lbs
Energy level: Mostly low
Kids: 16+, she prefers peace and quiet
Dogs: Possible with slow introductions but would do best as an only
Cats: We always recommend a slow introduction

Whitney

True to her breed, Whitney’s got one thing on her mind……BALL!!!!! Her favorite thing in the world is to play fetch and she is the best at it. She’s about 7 years old so she’s essentially the best of both worlds! Grown out of the puppy/teenager phase but still has enough energy to have some fun! Whit would love a home that understands the Belgian Malinois breed and enjoys fulfilling their needs.

Size: 60 lbs
Energy level: High, she loves a good game of fetch then self-entertains
Kids: Ages 10+
Dogs: She came in with one but hasn’t been tested yet
Cats: We always recommend a slow introduction

Pippa

Pippa was found running around E-Town, full of spirit and spunk! She’s fun and a little edgy. If she could, she’d totally rock a leather jacket and boots! But underneath that cool-girl vibe, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves her people. Her favorite pastime? Chasing the giant yoga ball in the front run – she could go all night if we’d let her! Whether she’s the next urban herding champ or your everyday adventure buddy, Pippa’s ready to roll. Bring her home and add some fun to your life!

Size: 40 lb.
Energy level: Medium
Kids: Ages 13+
Dogs: Picky, but with the right fit!
Cats: No thanks!

Max

Max is a heart-breaker! He was found in a forest preserve, left to fend for himself, and now knowing him, we just know this sweet guy must have been terrified. Max has a heart of gold, just aims to please, and would love a family to have fun with. He’s a quick learner, will do anything for a treat, and enjoys nothing more than taking a support stuffie on his walks with him. He loves giving kisses and bonding with people, it’s adorable to watch. He’s a good boy with a good heart and he’s ready to share his love with someone!

Size: 60 lb.
Energy level: Medium
Kids: Ages 10+, sometimes he forgets his size
Dogs: May do well with a calmer dog
Cats: Not tested

Ellis

This little guy was found abandoned in a tennis court next to our shelter. He was confused and understandably upset. It took all of a day before this cuddle bug was in our laps craving love and attention! He continues to have the sweetest personality and he’s so darn fun! He’s never had an accident in his kennel and he’s been wonderful with us. There is nothing Ellis loves more than a warm blanket and spending time playing or snuggling up for face massages!

Size: 40 lb.
Energy level: Medium, he’s active but enjoys doing lots of different things
Kids: Ages 10+
Dogs: With the right fit, he likes chiller dogs
Cats: Not tested, but likely not a good fit

Robert

Our boy Bob has had a rough go at life. He came to us as a stray and we quickly noticed that he had trouble breathing. He ended up having a wound at the bottom of his esophagus causing air to leak into parts of his body it should be. This meant that he spent the first few weeks with us on strict crate rest and in recovery. He has since been cleared for action and he is READY to partayyy! This goofball looks like he came straight off the mothership and we question whether he’s an alien or a dog but either way we love him and we think you will too!

Size: 60 lb.
Energy level: High
Kids: Older, he could accidentally knock over littles
Dogs: With the right fit, preferably female
Cats: Not for this guy!

Orville

We can’t say enough good things about this absolute hunk! Orville originally came to us as a stray and we were surprised that no one came looking for him. He’s been in a foster home where he has flourished into a loving, sweet, respectful, easygoing dog. Want to walk for miles? Great! Want to spend the day watching the newest Netflix series? Awesome! This dude does it all. He’s housebroken, the biggest cuddler ever, and he’s even famous (he was in a local news segment!). He can’t wait to be your best friend!

Size: 70 lb.
Energy level: Medium
Kids: Ages 13+
Dogs: No thanks!
Cats: No thanks!

Marigold

In foster

She’s beauty, she has little grace, she’s Marigold! This puppy is growing up at the shelter and we’d love to find her a home ASAP! Mari was a stray and we just can’t believe it. Her sweet puppy face and those innocent little eyes make her irresistible, and with some basic training, she’s going to make the perfect little companion. Marigold has so much personality already and the funniest little attitude, she could make you laugh every day.

Size: 30 lbs and growing!
Energy level: High – she’s a puppy learning the ropes!
Kids: Yes
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Not tested

Lemon

In foster

This beauty was brought to us after a search warrant resulted in 18 dogs being pulled from a home. Lemon was shut down, had an open pressure sore, and was so defeated. We cleaned her up and sent her into a foster home where she has flourished. She’s becoming confident with structure and is leaving that old life in the past. She’s so easy to manage in the home and is loving being loved on. Giving her a home would be giving her the second chance she deserves! Make an appointment to meet her by emailing tanyaeasa@gmail.com

Size: 50 lbs
Energy level: Medium, likes to play but loves to sleep
Kids: 10+, we don’t know what her experience with kids is
Dogs: Calmer dogs are her jam
Cats: Possibly with a slow introduction

Caspian

In foster

If Caspian were a human he’d be an Olympian: athletic, charming, and loves a good workout! Caspian came to us as a stray, so we don’t know about his past but we do know that he’s been nothing but a good time! He’s learning manners and that he doesn’t have to be a bull in a china shop when he’s saying hello, but isn’t it sweet that he’s so excited to make new friends?!

Size: 60 lb.
Energy level: High
Kids: Older, he could accidentally knock over littles
Dogs: Yes
Cats: We always recommend slow intros

Woody

In foster

Woody is an incredibly gentle, sweet and loving pup, and his goal in life is to be your best friend. It’s clear that humans caused Woody to have a very rough childhood, but it is truly amazing to see him discover how great life can be! Woody would greatly benefit from having a dog sibling to love and to show him that it is safe to trust humans. He would prefer to not have cat siblings, however a confident cat should do fine. Woody can be your security guard in the city as well as the perfect cuddle partner. He has grown so much and the perfect example of that is walking. Woody was terrified to go for a walk at all, but now he absolutely loves to go for walks and play with everyone at the dog park! He is fantastic with other dogs. He is great with kids too and is very gentle. Woody is a very special dog and will make your entire life better with his love.

Size: 50 lb. but slightly underweight
Energy level: Medium-high, he’s a husky mix after all
Kids: Yes
Dogs: Yes, we could test with yours if interested
Cats: Preferably not

Dave

In foster

Dave was tied to a dumpster near a junkyard and left with wounds all over his body. He was understandably a little nervous at the shelter, but is so easily won over with a single treat and a nice little head scratch. If you want a dog who’s going to get stopped on every walk to be told how handsome he is, he’s your dude! A place to snuggle up is all he’s looking for – he’s an easy-to-please kind of guy and can’t wait to find a forever family of his own!

Size: 60 lb.
Energy level: Medium, a nice walk and some training tires him out
Kids: Ages 16+
Dogs: No thanks!
Cats: No thanks!

Ralphie

In foster

I may look like a big tough guy, but I’m soft as mush for the people I love! I’ve had a rough past including being on the run in the bitter cold winter last year but the team here is doing their best to find my perfect home. I’m a bit of a shy dude at first and it might take a visit or two to warm up to new people, but I’m trying really hard to be the best me I can be. Someone who has patience to help me learn is a must and in return you’ll get endless cuddles and zoomies that’ll make your day! I know I can make someone happy and I’m hoping it’s you!

Size: 55 lb. but a little chonky right now
Energy level: Medium
Kids: Ages 16+
Dogs: With the right fit
Cats: No thanks!
