Adoption fees help us prepare our animals for a happy, healthy life! The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, and current vaccines.

Good things come in small packages, and Chloe is proof! This sweetheart is the perfect mix of fun and cuddly. She’s happy to play, but her favorite spot is curled up next to her person. Life took an unexpected turn when Chloe landed at the shelter, but it hasn’t dimmed her spirit one bit. Now she’s looking for someone to give her the second chance she deserves. Got an open lap? Chloe would love to fill it!

Shadow came to us with Chloe, but these two are definitely solo acts! Shadow is a small dog with a BIG battery. There’s a lot of energy packed into that little body, and he wants to share every bit of it with you. Underneath all the bouncing is a pup who really just wants to be loved and have a home again. Give Shadow a family of his own, and he’ll follow you everywhere, just like his name says!

Like her Disney namesake, Merida is brave, spirited, and a little bit wild – especially when it comes to grass! Put her paws on a patch of lawn and the zoomies take over. (We think it’s because she only gets grass a couple of times a day here. A backyard might be her dream come true.) This fun, playful puppy is eager to learn and ready to change her fate. She’ll do best with a family who can give her structure, consistency, and lots of love as she grows. Merida shouldn’t spend her puppyhood in a kennel, so come meet her and help write her happily ever after!

Meet Buckets, a whole bucket of fun! This high-energy puppy has a brain to match his bounce. He LOVES to work, learn, and figure out what you want from him. Every day in a kennel is a day he could be growing up on a couch, and this pup deserves better. Buckets would thrive with an active family who will keep him busy, and he’d be thrilled to have a canine sibling to play with. Add Buckets to your bucket list – he’s a must!

Sup dude! Meet our cool new girl on the block, Surfer! She’s fun! She’s energetic! She’s curious and wants to learn! We think this girl would be a fun addition to your active lifestyle. Going to the beach? She’ll bring her towel! Hiking in the forest preserve? She’s already in the car! Come meet Surfer and give her the life she deserves!

Lambo has been passed around a few homes and is ready to find his permanent forever! He has some quirks, but really who doesn’t? Lambo is just a sweet, goofy guy who has the best zoomies you’ll ever see! He is hoping for a family who is able to provide some structure and consistency to give him the best life. If you’re looking for a companion who is just happy to be part of your day, Belly might be your perfect match. She has a wonderfully easygoing personality. While she’s completely content relaxing on her own, she’d much rather be hanging out nearby with her favorite people. One of her favorite treats is a peanut butter-filled licky mat, and she’s always happy to settle in and enjoy a tasty snack. She’s house-trained, non-destructive in the home, and has great house manners. Belly thrives with consistency and would do best in a home that can provide a predictable routine. In return, she’ll reward you with plenty of affection, companionship, and some truly top-tier cuddles. Whether you’re spending the evening on the couch, working from home, or simply enjoying a quiet day, she’s happy just being by your side.

Meet Big Head Todd, the owner of the blockiest head on the north shore! Todd came to us as a stray with pretty severe eye issues. After getting surgery and recovering, Todd is finally ready for adoption! Now that he’s feeling better, his true personality is showing. He is goofy, affectionate, and LOVES TREATS!!! Come meet this blockhead and give him the chance at a cushy life!

Here ye, here ye, meet King! This handsome boy is ready to trade his kennel for a castle (AKA your home). Like any royal, he’s accustomed to a certain lifestyle: lounging on the throne (your couch), keeping good company (your family), and luxury foods (Pupperoni). In all seriousness, King’s been down on his luck lately and is ready to get out of the shelter. With a family, patience, and love, King will be feeling like royalty in no time.

Our boy Bob has had a rough go at life, but you’d never know it now! He came to us as a stray with a wound at the bottom of his esophagus that left him struggling to breathe and stuck on strict crate rest for weeks. These days, he’s fully recovered and (ahem) a little chunkier, and he’s living his best life. Bob loves long walks, a good play session, and a serious snuggle to wrap up the day. He’s not a fan of non-humans (so he’d like to be your only fur baby!), mostly because he’s pretty sure he’s one of us. We still can’t tell if he’s a dog, an alien, or a person in a dog suit, but either way we love him and we think you will too!

Meet Ragnar! This sweet boy came to us totally broken: emaciated, smelly, with overgrown nails, and afraid of the world. Today? He’s fully recovered and a whole new dog! Ragnar has come out of his shell and is a sweet, playful pup who LOVES a working walk. One word of warning: like any true Viking, Ragnar likes to go on a raid now and then, and his target of choice is trees. Yes, trees. We’re not sure what they did to him, but he definitely knows something we don’t. His past was rough, but his future is bright. Are you his forever?

Meet Dr. Doofenshmirtz! Like his cartoon villain namesake, Doof is very misunderstood. His gruff demeanor is only to protect his heart from being hurt again – he’s not really evil! He’s looking for a family who is patient, caring, and willing to help him build up his confidence. Come meet Doof so he can show you his latest invention – the Puppy-Eyes-inator 3000! Careful, it might just make you fall in love!

Meet Ralphie, our resident potato: round, a little lumpy in the best way, and fiercely loyal once you’ve earned a spot in his heart. He’s our longest-term resident and has spent the last couple of years living his best life in foster, putting in serious work with his foster and our trainer. Honestly? He might be the most well-trained dog on the property! He’s not about instant friendships, though. Ralphie’s a “let’s get to know each other first” kind of dog: a little wary of strangers, and choosy about which dogs, kids, and people make the cut. He’s partial to the ladies (sorry, guys), though a handful of male volunteers have earned honorary favorite status. Somehow the loyal, hardworking potato of the shelter is still looking for his people, and it’s honestly criminal. He’d do best as an only-kid or older-dog-savvy-kid household, with someone patient enough to let him warm up on his own time. Once you’re in, you’re in – and Ralphie will spend the rest of his days proving it was worth the wait!

Is it a dog? Is it an alien? Nope, it’s Gnucci, the bulldog who is simply unreal! Gnucci came in through animal control in rough shape, but you’d never know it now. He’s been flourishing since he arrived, and he’s all rainbows and butterflies. Right now he’s living the good life in foster with a canine roommate. He’s also working on shedding a few pounds on the way to his best bod yet. His past was tough, but his future is bright. Gnucci is ready for a home where he’ll know nothing but love. Chewie was brought to us after a search warrant resulted in 18 dogs being pulled from a home. From his very first day with us, he’s made it clear that he has a single goal in life: making friends! He’s a playful pup, loves to go on walks, play fetch, get pets, or anything that will get him new friends! Just a wookie looking for his Han Solo. He’s ready for a loving home where he can get spoiled!

Caspian is a huge-hearted, deeply loving boy with feelings as big as his adorable smooshy face. He’s the kind of dog who throws his whole heart into everything — whether that’s curling up as close as possible for snuggles, proudly carrying around his favorite toy, or learning something new. Belly rubs? Absolute heaven. Being near his people? Even better. Like other sensitive souls, Caspian is still learning how to navigate big emotions and exciting environments. But even in his frustrating moments, you can see how badly he wants to do the right thing and be understood. We’ve watched him blossom into the sweetest cuddle bug and devoted companion. He is incredibly smart, adaptable, and thrives with patience, consistency, and love. Caspian needs someone willing to see his huge heart and help guide him through the world. In return, you’ll get a loyal best friend who will love you with everything he has.
