Evanston Animal Shelter 2310 Oakton St., EvanstonPUPPY LOVE is a grass-roots documentary that was partially shot in Evanston and tells a personal story with a universal message. “My puppy and his littermates suddenly became paralyzed and the vets told us to put them down," explains writer-director Gail Gilbert.
